Energy that evolves with the future at D!Vers Woerden
A service point that wants to move forward

The transportation sector is moving toward electric and sustainable, and D!Vers Woerden chooses not to wait for that movement. They are consciously taking the step toward a future-proof energy system that grows along with their customers' ambitions. That's why they wanted to expand their charging infrastructure and make smarter use of the available power.

The grid left little room for this and, at the same time, the existing solar panels were generating more energy than could be used directly. A puzzle that called for an integrated approach!

The power of combining

In close cooperation with EnergieHaven we looked at how charging infrastructure, battery storage and solar energy could maximally reinforce each other. EnergieHaven is a committed energy partner that designs and realizes smart, sustainable solutions for parties such as D!Vers with solar panels, batteries, charging infrastructure and energy management systems. They stand beside their customers with short lines, clear language and technical expertise, so that organizations can grow carefree, become more sustainable and less dependent on the grid.

Embion and EnergieHaven are close partners; therefore, Embion delivered its Energy Management System that connects these components and ensures they work together as one powerful whole, without going beyond the existing grid contract. The joint approach laid the foundation for a solution that is both technically smart and future-proof.

The EMS as the conductor of all energy flows

Where previously there were separate components, a single intelligent energy system has now emerged. The EMS controls in real time how energy is distributed and used. This keeps energy demand within limits, while making more possible.

In addition, ten energy meters have been integrated for registering HBEs, so that D!Vers also benefits administratively from sustainable fuels to the maximum.

A perfect interaction

The end result realized by EnergieHaven and Embion is a modern energy system which supports the growth of D!Vers:

  • 6 fast charging points of 320 kW
  • 1 battery of 500 kW / 1000 kWh
  • 1 Embion EMS controlling everything
  • 10 energy meters for HBE registration

D!Vers Woerden thus makes the further step towards a progressive energy point ready for the logistics of the future, thanks to the smooth cooperation between all partners involved.
