At Grytte Bloemenheuvel in Driebergen, an inspiring coworking space located in the former mayor’s residence, entrepreneurs come together to collaborate and innovate. The location, however, faced a challenge: the limit of its grid connection.
The existing 84 kW connection proved insufficient for the building’s growth and the addition of new facilities such as charging stations, air conditioning units, and heat pumps. This limitation restricted energy use and hindered further sustainability and flexibility.
To solve this, AccuPower installed an EOS 232 kWh - 125 kW system, managed by the Embion EMS. The EMS ensures that the battery automatically absorbs consumption peaks. This peak shaving technique relieves the electricity grid, allowing Grytte Bloemenheuvel to make optimal use of its available capacity, without extra costs or an upgraded grid connection.
This project demonstrates what’s possible when battery technology and smart control systems come together. AccuPower supplied and installed the storage solution, while the Embion EMS provides intelligent energy management. A great step toward a greener, future-proof working environment.
