What if you could see today what your energy consumption would look like tomorrow? Or what the effect of a battery, charging stations or additional installations would be, without actually installing them? Embion's Digital Twin makes that a reality. We are currently selecting the first partners with whom we will analyze the results of the first release. A market-wide rollout is expected to take place in Q3 of this year.
A Digital Twin is a digital copy of your power plant. Within the Embion EMS, we build this model based on historical data, combined with smart inputs.
For example:
The system learns how your location functions and recognizes patterns in consumption and generation. On this basis, a model is created that realistically simulates your installation.
This makes energy management not only insightful, but also predictable.
The Embion Digital Twin makes it possible to analyse scenarios before making decisions. Think of questions such as: ‘What impact does a battery have on my peak demand?’ ‘Can my grid connection handle additional charging stations?’ ‘What is the impact of new installations on my energy costs?’ and ‘What size should my battery be to absorb peak loads and remain economically viable?’
The Embion Digital Twin calculates these scenarios based on your specific situation. Thereby not only technical effects become visible, but also financial consequences such as costs, savings and payback time.
You don't need years of data to get value from the Digital Twin. With just a month's worth of measurement data, the model can already make strong predictions. Combining this with external data, such as weather information, creates a complete picture.
