Smart charging within a unified energy system

With grid capacity increasingly the limiting factor, electric charging requires a different approach than before. Smart control is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. That's why the Embion EMS is now integrated with Enovates' chargers. With this integration, charging stations become part of one smart energy system, in which charging is automatically tuned to grid capacity and your local energy use.

Charging as part of the whole

The integration supports Enovates residential, semi-public and public chargers, including the ENO one, ENO business, ENO public and ENO truck. These chargers are often deployed in locations where multiple vehicles charge simultaneously and where grid capacity is a limiting factor.

By linking to the Embion EMS, charging is no longer controlled separately, but included in the total energy picture of the location. The EMS continuously monitors the total consumption and automatically adjusts the charging capacity to avoid peak loads and stay within the limits of the connection.

Smart use of locally generated energy

When solar energy is available, the Embion EMS can automatically adjust the charging process accordingly. Instead of feeding back to an overloaded grid, energy is utilized locally for vehicle charging. This increases the efficiency of solar installations and reduces the pressure on the power grid.
