A new downtown restaurant had insufficient power to handle spikes in energy consumption. There was no room for an outdoor battery, and fire safety regulations did not allow a conventional battery to be placed inside. Without a solution, the restaurant would risk peak loads and high costs due to overloading the grid connection.
Indutecc Renewable Solutions supplied and installedthe Embion EMS as a central energy management system, in combination with a graphene battery (50kWh) and a 50kW inverter. The Embion EMS continuously monitored energy consumption and controlled the battery to handle peaks. This ensuredthat the restaurant always stayed under the agreed power limits of 55kW and 80A per phase.
The Embion EMS offers a smart and flexible solution for managing peak consumption and limited grid capacity. With real-time monitoring, automatic battery control and easy installation, the system helps provide customers with power efficiently and cost-effectively. This makes it ideal for installers who want to provide their customers with a reliable and sustainable power solution.
