The Embion EMS connects directly to the Vestel chargers and continuously monitors energy consumption on-site. The power supplied to the chargers is automatically adjusted based on available grid capacity, local generation, and other consumers. This way, a charging station becomes an active participant in the site’s energy system.

More Charging Without Upgrading

Grid congestion is a barrier to expansion for many organizations. Upgrading a connection takes time, money, and paperwork, and it’s not always the fastest solution.

By combining Vestel’s scalable chargers with the Embion EMS, organizations can expand their charging capacity without immediately requesting additional grid capacity. The EMS prevents peak loads by dynamically distributing energy across chargers, generation, and storage. This allows the existing connection to handle more load, which is immediately reflected in lower energy costs.

Solar energy that doesn’t feed back into the grid, but charges

Does the location have solar panels? If so, the Embion EMS directs local generation preferentially to the Vestel chargers, rather than back into an overloaded grid. This increases self-consumption and reduces energy costs without requiring any configuration.

At locations with battery storage, this goes one step further. The EMS automatically coordinates the interaction between solar panels, the battery, and charging stations. If you add extra chargers or storage later, the system scales accordingly and keeps everything in balance.
