Sometimes, all the components for a solid energy system are in place, solar panels, inverters and a battery, but the system lacks coherence. That was the situation at MTS van Loon in Oss. Thanks to a collaboration between TD&D and Embion, that’s now a thing of the past. The result? A smart and well-integrated energy installation, centrally managed by the Embion EMS.
MTS van Loon already had an impressive energy setup: 1600 solar panels connected to 12 SolarEdge inverters and a powerful Wheiheng battery. However… the system lacked proper control. Despite the efforts of various installers, the setup had never functioned correctly. The inverters were misconfigured, connection cables were loose, and there was no clear communication structure. The installation worked in parts, but not as a whole. And that’s exactly what smart energy is about: cohesion and control.
Through Embion, TD&D got in touch with MTS van Loon. Together with the client and their energy contract specialist, they first explored the needs and possibilities. Then, TD&D worked with the client to develop a plan, tailored to the energy use and generation patterns on-site.
Installation followed without any issues. The Embion EMS was installed as the central control unit, connecting all 1600 solar panels, the Wheiheng battery, and a kWh meter on the main connection point.
With support from the Embion Support Team, a new driver was installed for the battery, ensuring seamless communication with the EMS.
Thanks to this collaboration, the installation at MTS van Loon in Oss has been successfully completed, bringing structure to a previously chaotic setup. This is the power of an integrated approach and a committed team.
TD&D also reflects positively on the project:
“Thanks for this great lead. With Embion’s sales and technical support, everything was set up smoothly and effectively. The result speaks for itself, and we look forward to future collaborations!”
At Embion, we believe in smart energy control that’s clear and reliable. The Embion EMS helps installers bring systems together and get the most out of them. That’s what drives us: building sustainable, high-value solutions for our customers, together.
